Book Review - The Battle of Britain by Chris Barnsley

This book is about a young man called John who has joined the RAF to fight for Britain. Germany is coming to attack Britain so they prepare for War. The team fly around in their fighter planes to find the Germans and defeat them.  However, John crashes his plane and is alone on a cliff. A German’s plane gets shot down and the German lands on the same cliff. Some sailors come and save the two. The German is then shot and killed on the ship.

I found this book very interesting. John narrated in detail what he was experiencing in the War. This book also caught my attention and was better than I expected. I would recommend this book to people who like adventure and history, war and planes. This book is also educational as it tells you some history of the War and what they had to do in the RAF to prepare for war. It also tells you about the fighter planes they flew.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars
